It’s here!

At forty, Tamika Boone never imagined she’d become a walking cliche. Yet, the morning after a particularly drunken Christmas party, she finds herself waking up in a man’s bed. Writing 101 – Welcome to the classroom: Character Development

Quick Tip: Never forget about character development when you're writing a story. You can't create a character that's an entire a$$hole and then make a post on Facebook or IG about removing negative people from your life. Remove them from your story unless they serve a purpose (advancing the plot, growth device, etc). -Love-n-Lit

Heartbreak Hotel by Kenya Wright (sneak peek) Coming 12.04.2017

Dez & Larke: After one last, quick squeeze, she darted up the path. Even carrying the large contraption, he kept up pretty well, especially since those... Continue Reading →

Art in Real Life – Real love stories

Jennifer and her husband are one of the cutest couples I’ve ever seen. After having met when they were stationed in Fort Riley, KS, both sharing a military background, life for them has blossomed into two children (ages 14 and 6), and an “ability to laugh and love even through firing bullets.” What is your... Women Inspiring Women…

Have you ever met a woman who's so good at what she does, you want to give the opportunity she gave you, to others? I'll keep this short because I plan to make post about why Jessica Watkins is the G.O.A.T, and she knows some of how she changed my life, but I like to... Continue Reading →
