Theo continued. “When we lived with Joel, I didn’t see the man. I never did, Mama.”
“We never actually lived with…wait, is that why you had the accident tonight? You dreamed about the scary man again?”
“Yes. Joel can protect us from him.”
Joel stepped into the room.
“Joel!” Theo hopped out of bed and launched himself into Joel’s arms. “I thought you left.”
“Not without saying good night to my favorite guy.”
“Can you stay until I fall asleep?” Theo asked. “That way, I won’t see the man.”
“Is this the same man every time?”
“Yes.” Theo nodded emphatically. “He’s scary.”
An uneasy feeling swept over Joel. “Like monster scary?” he asked.
“No. Like Uncle Gio scary.”

Happy New Year!!!!
I love your series but I must admit I’m starting to get confused as to who is who. Would it be possible to post a character guide on your page? Just a list of the folks and brief background synopsis.
Wishing you the best in 2021!

Hello and Happy New Year KAW!
Sorry, I’m confused. So ‘Requiem for Love’ will be an online series of the romance between Joel and Ayesha and not released as a book on 2/14/21?

Hi! That’s correct. It won’t be a book release. What might help is, whenever it’s an online only series, I think put “online only” on the cover. Also, “After The End” is specifically a series title dedicated to the online series releases.

Hmm … It’s the “after the end” that threw me off on your cover. I thought the online series followed after (the end) of a released book. Thanks for the clarification.

No, you’re right. This is after Joel’s book. Since it’s a series, there’ll be a tie-in with other characters.

Hi, I’m confused too. Did Joel have a book and I just missed it? If yes, can you tell me the title please so I can go purchase. Definitely a fan of the Angels and Assassins series. Looking forward to Joel and Ayesha’s story.

Ready!!! Though I don’t know this Ayesha person. I’ll have to do some catch up it seems. But I’m ready for Joel to actually have someone that I like and makes sense.

Just saw this… (And I did?!)
Went back and finished Hidden in the Shadows yesterday (I had purposefully waited until it was over then got sucked into other things) and read all of Joel and Ayesha’s parts twice. I am more than excited for them! Cause I stand by my words… “someone I like that actually makes sense” lol.
Thanks for that. I actually felt a little silly for forgetting Ayesha’s name. And I truly appreciate her becoming something more (so much more) than Curtis’ widow. Love these two together and their love. Look forward to next week. Till then I’ll be revisiting the rest of the fam!

I’m not very good with this email/social media stuff, so pardon me if I don’t do this right. I just know what I like and I like your writing! I’m a sucker for a good series, especially if each book is also great as a stand alone book. I’m a true fan and I don’t need a cliffhanger to be tricked into reading the next book! Your work is very good. I only read one out of sequential order, before I was hooked! I love to read, so, “Thank you”, for being so good at what you do!

Thank you for writing! Don’t worry; I’m not that great with email/social media either. I hope you continue to enjoy the stories here and those to come ^_^

Hi KAW: Thanks for all the updates. I’m so accustomed to you writing stories about specific couples in this series that I thought that Joel and Ayesha (and the kids) would get their own story, in novel form. Complete with bad guys, hot love scenes, interactions with the Uncles, and of course, a very satisfactory comeuppance.☺

The reason I like writing the online series so much is the interaction with you guys, tbh. Especially with all this COVID craziness, it’s been a blessing in disguise.
