Thank you for your support and patience. We, as writers, are people too. We have lives, families. Children. We get illnesses. Many of us have daytime jobs as writing is not, on average, a lucrative endeavor. We spend months working to put out 75K to 100K words that can be consumed in hours by the voracious reader. Therefore, those of you who have been emailing and checking up on me in some of the kindest ways, thank you. And please, if you find yourself becoming demanding or even insulting because something is not working on your timeline, please remember the above. Please do not email writers about your anger and frustration or be rude in any way. We do not deserve it, nor do we appreciate it.
Just like you, we are human. We write because we eat, breathe, and sleep the written word. Our world is a literary landscape and without writing, a piece of us perishes.
Again, thank you for your support.
All the best,
Alex
