What’s New?

First off: Happy New Year!

So, I don’t know how many of you already know this, but ya girl is also an editor. I edited academic papers in graduate school and while that was fine, I prefer creative writing. I also edit for my publisher and have received a few thank you emails/messages from those appreciative of the work I’ve done on their manuscripts.

You know that whole “warm and tingly” cliche? Yeah…I got that when I read those messages.

That’s why I’ve decided to take this show on the road. I would like to extend my editing services to all the independent writers out there.

Why? Because I’ve noticed I’m pretty good at it, and I believe I can do great work without having to inflate my prices. I also want to help writers who have great content but may not be as well-versed in grammar and semantics. Get your message out there and I’ll go ahead and polish it for the masses.
